Cookie Policy
Every cookie and similar technology this site uses, what each one does, and how long it lasts.
What cookies are
A cookie is a small text file a website asks your browser to store on your device, and sends back on later visits. Cookies are how a site remembers something between page loads.
This policy also covers similar technologies — in particular sessionStorage, which stores data in your browser in much the same way but is cleared when you close the tab. Putting information on your device is putting information on your device, whatever the technique, so we list our sessionStorage marker alongside the cookies rather than quietly leaving it out.
Everything this site stores is strictly necessary — it makes the site work and keeps the waitlist form usable. There is nothing optional here: no analytics, no advertising cookies, no tracking pixels and no social-media cookies. We do not sell data and we do not share it for anyone else's marketing. Because nothing optional is set, there is no consent banner and nothing to opt into.
The cookies we use
This is the complete list — all strictly necessary.
- Cookie
- samipe_waitlist_submitted
- Provider
- Samipe (first party)
- Purpose
- Records that you have already submitted the waitlist form, so a repeat submission isn't sent twice. Server-side only (httpOnly) — it can't be read by scripts in your browser.
- Duration
- Until you close your browser (session cookie)
- Cookie
- samipe:waitlist-submitted (sessionStorage, not a cookie)
- Provider
- Samipe (first party)
- Purpose
- Same job as above, on the browser side: it keeps the confirmation panel showing instead of a blank form if you return to the page.
- Duration
- Until you close the tab
- Cookie
- _GRECAPTCHA
- Provider
- Purpose
- Set by Google reCAPTCHA v3 to tell human visitors from bots and protect the waitlist form from spam. It is only set when reCAPTCHA is enabled on the site.
- Duration
- Set and controlled by Google, not by us — see Google's Privacy Policy for its current lifetime.

Managing cookies
Because the only storage on this site is strictly necessary, there is nothing to switch off from our side and no preferences panel — turning it off would stop the site or its waitlist form working.
You can still manage cookies in your browser directly: every major browser lets you see the cookies a site has set, delete them, and block some or all of them. Look under Settings, then Privacy. Blocking strictly necessary cookies will stop parts of this site working properly.
The reCAPTCHA cookie (_GRECAPTCHA) is set and controlled by Google. We can't reliably delete it from our side — clear it through your browser's settings if you want it gone.
Changes to this policy
If we add, remove or change a cookie, we update this page. The date at the top tells you when it last changed. If we ever introduce optional storage such as analytics, we will ask for your consent before setting it.
